Why use Flush Doggy?

Dog owners should never put dog waste in plastic bags and throw them in the trash. Plastic bags take up to 1000 years to degrade. Also throwing poop in the trash may contaminate our fresh water and environment. By using Flush Doggy waste bags, we are saving our planet.

Are the bags strong enough?

Flush Doggy bags are strong enough to carry heavy poop and soft enough to flush when it contacts with water.

How to use it ?

  • Simply throw the bag into the toilet without tying the bag. (Tying the end keeps air making it hard to flush.)
  • If your dog makes giant poop, it’s better todump poop out of the bag and flush along with the empty bag.
  • Please also make sure dog poop being flushed is not dry and hard (left out on the yard).
  • Flush only one poop at a time.
  • You can use a clip to attach the poop bag to your leash for easy carrying of the bag.

Can I throw flushable bags in the trash if I don't want to flush them?

Yes, you can. But please try to flush the dog waste in the toilet and toss the bag in trash.

Will Flush Doggy clog my toilet?

Flush Doggy is water soluble and safe to use as long as your toilet has enough flushing power and plumbing is not tree-infested, faulty or non-standard. Onceit comes in contact with water in the toilet, it softens and becomes safe to flush (bag will not dissolve in your toilet, it only becomes soft and flushable).

What is faulty or non-standard plumbing?

Faulty plumbing would mean there is something broken, systemically flawed, or warped due to time. Examples would be tree-infested pipes, where the roots have sought out the water in the pipes and squeezed their way inside. Older cast iron or clay pipes can crack with age, causing fissures where flushable products could snag, potentially building up over time and blocking the pipes.
Non-standard plumbing includes (but is not limited to): ejector pumps, house traps and cess pools. We don't recommend flushing if you have aseptic system.
If you are a renter ask the landlord or building manager about the state of your pipes. If you own your home it should be stated on your home inspection report.

Can I use Flush Doggy bags with my septic?

We do not recommend our products for septic systems. We would hate for you to have a problem as a result of flushing! Put the poop in the toilet and toss the bag, just to be safe. Even if you can’t flush you can breathe easy knowing you won’t be filling a landfill with a bunch of plastic bags that will still be there in 1000 years.
